‘EYE SEE THE
WORLD’ INITIATIVE

Eye see the world initiative

In 2013, the Craton Foundation initiated a campaign to provide spectacles to school children in the Windhoek area. In keeping with this tradition, approximately 1 300 pupils of the Bethold Himumuine Primary School in Katutura, Windhoek underwent initial eye screening tests in May 2014.

Forty children were identified as in urgent need of reading glasses. The reading glasses will in some instances, improve their vision from 40% to 100%.

The Craton Foundation, partnered with Tobich Optics, screened and supplied reading glasses to the school children from the Bethold Himumuine Primary School.
